There is so many exciting things about April! For one on April 20 I big chopped and it will be my 1 year anniversary! If you have read my previous post you know I currently have kinky twists in so this is the month I will undo the kinky twists at the end if April. Because I have had my kinky twists since Feb. 18 I will have a lot of new growth and that means new styles I can try! In one of my previous post I made a list of all the styles I want to try before the year ends and when I try everyone on my list I will protective style for the remaining time (maybe). With over 20 styles I wanna try I will be very busy through April especially because I have a wedding to go to and a week long camping trip! Lol #busy but I hope you can be able to keep up and I hope I can post a lot during this month! Have a great day!

Another hair goal of mines!!!

17 Mar

I know you guys must be tired of me talking about 2014 as the year of opportunity… Hair opportunity but I really think this year will be a great year! I know many natural don’t really like to set a goal for themselves because if they don’t eat to a certain length they get disappointed but I like setting goals for my self, I like to be disappointed it makes me push harder for what I want. The picture I attached to this post was a picture I saw on insta and tumblr and I couldn’t help to love everything about the picture. Her hair was what I loved the most and I’ve decided this is my hair length goal for this year. With a lot of deep conditioning, sealing and sprinting with water I’m sure I can make it there! Wish me luck guys 🙂

Cantu Shea butter leave in conditioning repair cream

13 Mar

Cantu Shea butter claim the product will leave u with soft, shiny and manageable hair…… And so it did! Not only did this product live up to its claim It can be used by so many hair types for several different styles. People can use this product for a braid out, twist out, Bantu knot out and for a east detangling session. This product is on my favorites list for my type 4 thick hair. I will most defiantly be making more post on the different way I use this product. For now in my hair journey this 16 oz. jar of smell good leave in will be around for a while.

Protective hairstyle care????

27 Feb

Hey ya’ll I feel like I haven’t written a post in forever but I had to tell my followers how I take care of my hair in extensions.

I know a lot of blog try to make taking care of braid extensions harder than what it really is. I know this because I have been getting my hair braided since I was 5 so I have years of experience. What I do is spray my scalp with African braid sheen that can be purchased at Walmart for about $3.00. Other than spraying my hair with African pride braid sheen I condition my hair twice a month and try my best to get my edges done every 3 weeks. Taking care of braid extensions isn’t as hard as other blogs make it! It’s called a no to low manipulation style for a reason. I will soon make a new post on how I wash my hair and add some pictures on how the process looks like. Other then that hope you have a good day and please feel free to comment.
